Bus Ticket Automation
Abstract
This project aims to develop an automated bus ticketing system leveraging a mobile application and cloud integration to enhance efficiency and user experience. The system addresses the limitations of traditional manual ticketing by providing online booking, real-time seat availability, secure payment gateways, and automated ticket generation. The development employs agile methodologies and incorporates user feedback for iterative improvements. The resulting system demonstrates improved operational efficiency, reduced administrative overhead, and enhanced customer satisfaction through a user-friendly interface and streamlined booking process.
Introduction
The current bus ticketing system often involves lengthy queues, manual ticket processing, and limited seat availability information, leading to inefficiencies and customer dissatisfaction. Manual processes are prone to errors and fraud. An automated system offers significant advantages, including reduced wait times, improved accuracy, increased revenue through online sales, and better resource allocation for bus companies.
