Vehicle Servicing Management System
Abstract
This project aims to develop an automated Vehicle Servicing Management System (VSMS) to streamline the vehicle servicing process and improve efficiency in automotive workshops. The system will integrate appointment scheduling, service history tracking, parts inventory management, and invoicing functionalities. The proposed system addresses the limitations of manual systems by providing a centralized, easily accessible database and automating several time-consuming tasks. The conclusion shows a significant improvement in operational efficiency and customer satisfaction through the implementation of the VSMS.
Introduction
The automotive industry relies heavily on efficient vehicle servicing for customer satisfaction and profitability. Currently, many workshops rely on manual systems for managing appointments, tracking service history, and managing parts inventory, leading to inefficiencies, errors, and potential revenue loss. These manual processes are often time-consuming, prone to human error, and lack the ability to provide real-time data analysis for informed decision-making. An automated VSMS can address these challenges by providing a centralized, integrated platform to manage all aspects of the vehicle servicing process.
