This research proposes a novel system for secure and efficient conjunctive keyword search on encrypted e-health data stored in cloud environments. The system leverages proxy re-encryption (PRE) with a designated tester mechanism and integrated timing constraints to address the challenges of data confidentiality, authorized access control, and efficient search. The proposed system ensures that only authorized users can access specific data while maintaining the confidentiality of the data even from the cloud provider. Results demonstrate significant improvements in search efficiency and security compared to existing methods.
The increasing use of cloud computing for storing and managing e-health data necessitates robust security mechanisms. However, existing search techniques often compromise either data confidentiality or search efficiency. Conjunctive keyword search, where multiple keywords must match, adds complexity. Current solutions often lack fine-grained access control and fail to prevent unauthorized access attempts. This research addresses these gaps by designing a secure and efficient conjunctive keyword search system specifically tailored for e-health applications, mitigating data breaches and ensuring privacy compliance.
