Dynamic and Public Auditing with Fair Arbitration for Cloud Data

Abstract

This research focuses on developing a dynamic and public auditing system for cloud data that incorporates a fair arbitration mechanism to resolve disputes. The system aims to enhance data integrity verification, accountability, and trust between cloud providers and users. We propose a novel architecture combining cryptographic techniques with a multi-party computation framework to achieve efficient and verifiable audits while protecting user privacy. Our results demonstrate improved audit efficiency and a robust dispute resolution process, significantly enhancing the security and trustworthiness of cloud data storage.

Introduction

The increasing reliance on cloud services necessitates robust mechanisms for verifying data integrity and ensuring accountability. Current auditing methods often lack transparency, efficiency, or a fair dispute resolution process. Cloud providers may manipulate audit results, and users lack the means to independently verify data integrity. This gap in trust and transparency significantly hinders wider cloud adoption, particularly for sensitive data. This research addresses this challenge by developing a secure and transparent auditing system with a built-in fair arbitration process to resolve any disputes that may arise.
