This research proposes a novel identity-based proxy-oriented architecture for secure data uploading and remote integrity checking in public cloud environments. The system addresses the challenges of data confidentiality, integrity, and authenticity while minimizing computational overhead on resource-constrained devices. By leveraging identity-based cryptography and a trusted proxy server, the system enables efficient data verification without revealing sensitive data to the cloud provider. The results demonstrate improved security and performance compared to existing methods.
The increasing reliance on public cloud storage necessitates robust mechanisms for ensuring data confidentiality, integrity, and authenticity. Existing solutions often rely on complex cryptographic techniques that impose significant computational burdens on end-users, particularly for resource-limited devices. Furthermore, verifying data integrity remotely without downloading the entire data presents a significant challenge. This research addresses these limitations by proposing an identity-based proxy-oriented approach that offloads computationally intensive cryptographic operations to a trusted proxy, minimizing the burden on the client while maintaining strong security guarantees.
